Re-stringing & Knotting

*Q: Do you offer drop-off in Bristol?*

A: Yes. I’m based in Old Market, Bristol for pre-booked drop-off and collection. No postage required. Book a slot through Instagram DM, phone or email.

*Q: How much does pearl restringing cost?*

A: Prices start from £22 for bracelets and £30 for necklaces. Knotting is £40-£80 for necklaces depending on length. Send me a photo and length for an exact quote. Cleaning add-on is +£5.

*Q: How long does it take?*

A: Standard turnaround is 5-7 working days. I also offer a 48hr urgent service for +£20. All slots are pre-booked.

*Q: Do you post jewellery back to me?*

A: Yes, if you’re outside Bristol. I use Royal Mail Special Delivery with full insurance and tracking. You post to me, I restring, and send it back tracked.

*Q: Can you match missing pearls or beads?*

A: Yes. I can source matching pearls, beads and clasps for you, including vintage and antique pieces. I’ll quote before buying anything.

*Q: Is my jewellery safe with you?*

A: Absolutely. Every piece is handled by hand, photographed before and after, and kept secure on-site. I offer a 1-year guarantee on my knotting work.

*Q: Do you work on other types of jewellery?*

A: I specialise in pearl and bead necklaces, bracelets, and multi-strand pieces. For ring sizing, stone setting or gold/silver repair, I can recommend a trusted local jeweller.

*Q: How often should pearls be restrung?*

A: Every 2-3 years for pieces worn regularly. If the silk looks yellow, stretched, or feels rough, it’s time to re-knot before it snaps.

*Q: Do you offer cleaning?*

A: Yes. Add a gentle pearl-safe clean for +£5 when you book a restringing service. It removes makeup, sweat and dirt without damaging the pearls.

*Q: Can you fix a broken clasp?*

A: Yes. Clasp replacement is included in the re-stringing service. If you want to keep your original clasp, I can reattach it if it’s still sound. is where you describe what your website is about.
